The palate is rich and generous with opulent flavours of lychee, glace cherry and truffle oil. A perfectly poised balance of dosage, acidity and structural tannins this wine exhibits a remarkable presence and persistence.
After refreshing rains in February 2008 the weather reverted to the warm and dry conditions allowing the fruit to ripen slowly to a point of perfect balance. The Arras Brut Elite 801 has proven to be one of the classic years of the decade for sparkling winemaking from Tasmania.
