This 2008 Vintage edition of the EJ Carr Late Disgorged was released following disgorgement of December of 2022. This wine after seeing further ageing under cork has resulted in a superb example of prestige cool climate winemaking and carries all the superb attributes of a classic vintage year.

Appearance
Medium straw with a youthful green/gold hue. An ultra-fine and persistent bead exhibiting the great hallmarks of a tradtional method sparkling winemaking.
Bouquet
Lifted aromas of white nectarine, grapefruit pith, oyster shell and fresh baked pastries.
Palate
An inviting palate of white stone fruit, honey, toast, saline and forest floor. Elegantly structured, vibrant and poised. Lingering palate flavours built around a strong acid backbone, super dry dosage with a bright and crisp finish.
Vineyard Provenance
Tasmania; Derwent Valley, Coal River Valley and the East Coast.
