FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are your opening hours?

10am - 5pm Thursday - Monday

Closed Tuesday & Wednesdays, Public Holidays.

Do you have to have a booking to visit?

Yes. We have structured our cellar door to be open to visitors By Appointment Only, as we have a classroom environment and may not be able to accept last minute appointments if we are in session.

The House of Arras Vintage Rosé is not very pink

We produce our vintage Rose with a very pale blush colour, often the first thing people do is hold it up to the light to catch the soft shade of salmon blush. This is because our wines spend a long time on yeast lees in the cellar before release, anywhere from 7-12 years. This means we limit skin contact time, to get the most of aromatic purity from the fruit at the sacrifice of colour so we know that the wine will have poise and balance with the natural acidity and flavour profiles at such a great length into the future.

Do you have any back vintage wines available?

We typically release our sparkling wine each September, and still wines in October i.e Spring for the Summer ahead and sell out within a calendar year. So most of what you see on our website is current release and also what is currently available.

Can I bring my dog to the cellar door?

Good news, we have one already packed for you! However our Cellar Door dog Flinders has a job to do greeting people and playing tour guide, and it can be distracting having other dogs in the building. We do have shade and water available outside under the oak trees also.
